DAVID A. CHAUVIN
Director, Public Relations Services

David Chauvin brings to Zimmerman/Edelson Inc. over ten years of corporate, government and political communications experience, including an extensive background in crisis management. As director of public relations services, he is responsible for running the day-to-day operations for the firm’s public relations division, which provides services to clients throughout Long Island, New York City, and tri-state area.

Prior to joining Zimmerman/Edelson, Inc., David served as communications director for the Town of North Hempstead, press secretary for Suozzi for Governor, deputy press secretary for the Nassau County Executive’s office, and executive director for the Nassau County Democratic Party. Additionally, he has also held positions in the Nassau County Legislature as a legislative aid and policy advisor.

David received his bachelor’s degree in English from Hofstra University.

EBORAH H. FRENCH
Director, Publications & Print Communication Service

Deborah French has been with Zimmerman/Edelson, Inc. for over 12 years, having served as an account executive, copy editor and the editor-in-chief prior to her current appointment. As Director of Publications & Print Communication Services, she is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm’s production division, which produces a wide range of print materials for the business, education and government sectors.

Prior to joining the Zimmerman/Edelson team, Deborah served as an English instructor at New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, New York from 1993-1996. Among her other achievements, she produced a documentary segment for a Long Island division of the Times-Mirror Company (now owned by the Tribune Group and Cox Communications) on land issues affecting Long Island’s East End, and served as a contributing editor on Guide to the Best Wineries of North America, published by AAA (1995). Deborah earned her Bachelor of Science degree at New York Institute of Technology, and Master of Arts in English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in media psychology at Fielding Graduate University, based in Santa Barbara, CA.
